The Challenge

Small service businesses face a consistent problem: they need a website that looks professional and builds trust with potential clients, but they do not have a developer on the team to manage it day-to-day. A site that requires technical knowledge to update becomes a bottleneck — the client depends on an agency every time they want to change a service description, add a photo, or update their pricing.

Perfect English Accent needed a site that solved both problems: professional enough to convert visitors into enquiries, and simple enough that the client could manage the content independently. It also needed to work correctly on mobile devices — the majority of searches for coaching and tutoring services now happen on smartphones — and to be set up correctly for search engines from day one.

What We Built

We built a WordPress brochure website covering the full scope of what a professional service business needs online:

• Responsive WordPress theme adapted to Perfect English Accent's brand — logo, colours, fonts, and layout configured to match their visual identity
• Mobile-first design tested across desktops, smartphones, and tablets, with a clean, uncluttered interface that presents the service clearly on any screen size
• Content management system with training provided from the start of the project — the client was adding and editing content on a live prototype before the site launched, so there was no learning curve at go-live
• Service pages and navigation structured to guide visitors through the coaching offer and towards an enquiry or booking
• Contact forms and social media links integrated throughout the site
• Google Analytics tracking configured and verified before launch, giving the client immediate visibility of traffic sources, page performance, and visitor behaviour

SEO and Launch

A website that search engines cannot find or index correctly is not serving its purpose. As part of the build we carried out the SEO basics that every new site needs at launch:

• Page titles, meta descriptions, and heading structure optimised for the coaching and language training queries the client's audience uses
• Image alt tags and file names reviewed for relevance and accessibility
• Site submitted to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
• Sitemap generated and submitted
• Google Analytics 4 account set up with goal tracking for contact form submissions
• Social media sharing configured with correct Open Graph tags so shared links display correctly on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

We also provided guidance on ongoing content — what to write, how often, and how to structure posts and pages to build organic visibility over time. The client left with a working site, the tools to measure it, and a clear picture of what to do next.
