Letthemtalk is an English language school that had already grown from a brochure website into a booking platform when Gideon came back to us for a second build — this time for the UK market. The France site had proven the model: a Joomla-based system letting students browse courses, purchase class credits, book sessions, and manage their learning account online. The UK site extended that approach to a new audience while keeping the operational logic the same.

The Challenge

Running an English language school online requires more than a content site — students need to be able to buy classes, manage a credit balance, book specific sessions, and cancel or rebook without requiring staff involvement for every transaction. The administration side also needs to be manageable: tracking bookings, handling credit balances, and updating the course schedule without a developer.

The system had to be reliable enough to handle the transaction volume of a growing school, and clear enough that students of varying technical ability could use it without difficulty. Gideon had already built this once for France — the UK build needed to deliver the same capability, adapted for a different market.

We built a Joomla platform with custom booking and payment integrated around Letthemtalk's credit model:
